Fishing

To split the thread Over complicated tenkara. In reflection I should have had a different title.
Like: Over Complicated Instruction or Over Complicated Documentation.

Regarding complexity in tenkara or just fishing.

I see a sort of a parallel with fishing and painting in its structure.

angler
rod and line
fly
water
fish

artist
brushes
paint
canvas
audience

Anyone can learn both disciplines. A beginner can even be very successful. It takes years to refine and a lifetime or more to learn.

As todoroki34 would say:
Painting is very simple in appearance but the inside is very complex

In both there are infinite approaches and an individual can choose the complexity they wish to draw into their approach.
